A recent Google Maps satellite image reveals a secret American Technology.

Satellites reportedly saw a secret unmanned submarine, belonging to the US Navy, named “Manta Ray” or “Sea Devil,” stationing at the Port Havenm Naval Base in California.

According to Newsweek magazine,.Northrop Grumman’s advanced unmanned underwater vehicle is part of an innovative maritime initiative aimed at creating a new class of long-endurance unmanned underwater vehicles that can operate without human participation in missions.

The name Manta Ray comes from the Sea Devil fish. It is equipped with high-tech gear for conducting various types of marine operations.

Northrop Grumman, an aerospace and defense group indicates that Manta Ray runs on its own denying any need for manpower support on site.

Last year the Russian Navy announced plans to purchase 30 Poseidon uncrewed underwater vehicles, small torpedo-shaped autonomous submarines that Moscow claims can travel up to 100 nautical miles per hour .

The US Navy wants to develop a hybrid fleet with Manta Ray that would have intelligent machines and sensors for its sailors and Marines.
